short first-person rpg made in rpg maker vx ace with fple engine

i don't really know how to describe this - its like corpse party but opposite and also shittier.  youre in a school. you fight god. yeah

this game was made in about 2 days, after i found out about the fple engine and thought Hey thats pretty cool. its a little bit buggy, and there are some things i just couldn't do, but i think its pretty neat. it plays for about 15-20 minutes, but also thats just my time since i already know where to go and what to do so it might be longer.

a lot of the storytelling is up to interpretation because im really bad at storytelling. feel free to make theories and believe whatever you want about this game.

CONTROLS

Z - interact/confirm
X - menu/cancel
UP ARROW - move forwards
DOWN ARROW - move backwards
LEFT ARROW - turn left
RIGHT ARROW - turn right
Q - strafe left
R - strafe right
F1 - configuration (windowed/fullscreen, keyboard controls, gamepad controls)

TIPS

feel free to grind! enemies reappear after exiting an area. grinding isnt necessary, however!

use items! use items! use items! combat is tricky without them!

inspect your surroundings! there are some hidden items that may help you if you run out!

KNOWN ISSUES

the download file is a little bit big due to the presence of the rtp -  however, this means you dont have to download anything extra!! yay!!

transitioning from one area to another causes the distance fog to be white and the screen from the last area to stick for a moment.

strafing into enemies causes the game to crash.

POTENTIAL RANDOM CRASHING. i haven't experienced this actually but i've heard that its a common issue with fple engine, so please remember to save often!
